2024 Geriatrics Institute Education Day

The Geriatrics Institute Education Day is a continuing education program delivered in partnership with Sinai Health’s Healthy Ageing and Geriatrics Program, the University Health Network and a variety of community care partners across the GTA. Our program takes place each June and provides accessible and quality education for health, social and community care professionals and advocates.
This year’s theme is based on the movie Up, where we will explore a variety of topics ranging from homelessness, to grief and loss, caregiver supports and dementia.
Please note that our event is only offered in English. There will be no translation services.

Note that you do not need a PayPal account to purchase a ticket. Our registration portal is supported by PayPal, but you are not required to have PayPal to check out. Once you have filled the form and entered your billing details, click “Proceed to PayPal” at the bottom of the page. Then you will be prompted to either sign in or select “Pay with Visa Debit or Credit Card”, thus bypassing having to sign in or create a PayPal account. Even as a guest PayPal will ask for your email to confirm the email used is not associated with a PayPal account. If you have a PayPal account but don’t want to use PayPal to check out, enter an email that is not associated with PayPal, and you will be taken to the last page where you enter your card information.
After you place your order, you will receive an email from PayPal or Sinai Health confirming your purchase. The registration confirmation email, that includes your ZOOM login details, will be sent to you mid-June, closer to the event date. Please do not panic if you have not yet received your ZOOM information. You will also receive an additional reminder with your login details. Please double-check your email address before submitting your registration and check that email inbox closer to the event day and on the day of to access your login information.
