Our Healthy Ageing 101 Series in February will be a little different. As tax season is upon us, we will be hosting a two-part presentation with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Both sessions will be a week’s apart.
The first session will take place on Tuesday February 21st, from 12:00 – 1:30 PM EST.
Janika Bounma, a Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) and Benefits Outreach Officer with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), will be presenting on the outreach program for adults 65+. This will be your opportunity to learn about benefits and credits, tax information, splitting pension income, etc.
The second session will take place on Tuesday February 28th, from 12:00 – 1:30 PM EST.
This session will be geared towards persons with disabilities and their caregivers. Tune in to learn more about available tax credits, scam awareness and other useful resources.
