VISITING MOUNT SINAI HOSPITAL
Mount Sinai Hospital is where most of our Sinai Health/UHN Healthy Ageing and Geriatrics Program patients receive their acute inpatient and outpatient care. Our Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit, Orthogeriatric Service, and inpatient Geriatric Medicine and Psychiatry Consultation Services work only with older adults admitted through our Emergency Department. Our Geriatric Emergency Management (GEM) Nurses work with older patients in the Emergency Department and may recommend they be admitted to the hospital or that they return home with the right supports or help them to benefit from one of our outpatient clinics or neighbouring outpatient clinics and programs at the University Health Network. Our outpatient Geriatric Medicine and Psychiatry Clinics and our Caregivers Support Program are based at Mount Sinai Hospital. Specific directions on how to locate those services are available on their corresponding web pages as well.
For more information on services and programs offered at Mount Sinai Hospital, visit its website at: www.mountsinai.on.ca or you can contact its general enquiry line at 416-586-4800.
