VISITING BRIDGEPOINT
Bridgepoint Active Healthcare is where many Healthy Ageing and Geriatric Program patients receive inpatient rehabilitation after an inpatient stay at Mount Sinai Hospital or another acute care facility. Some of our patients will be admitted to an inpatient rehabilitation program directly from the community as well. Some of our Caregiver Support Programs are delivered at Bridgepoint as well.

Bridgepoint is located at 1 Bridgepoint Dr., Toronto, Ontario, M4M 2B5 and is physically located north of Gerrard Street and west of Broadview Avenue. You can access Bridgepoint’s main building from either the entrance on Bridgepoint Drive or the entrance on Jack Layton Way.
Getting to Bridgepoint
Bridgepoint Active Healthcare is located at 1 Bridgepoint Dr. near Broadview and Gerrard Streets in Toronto, ON. You can access Bridgepoint from either the entrance on Bridgepoint Drive or the entrance on Jack Layton Way. If you need to call a taxi from Bridgepoint Active Healthcare, there are auto-dial phones at the Northbridge Reception Desk on the ground floor and at the Information Desk on the main floor.
By TTC
Bridgepoint is accessible by TTC. The closest subway station is Broadview Station on the Bloor-Danforth Line. Take the 504 and 505 streetcars south from Broadview Station. Exit at Simpson Avenue or Gerrard Street.
By Streetcar
The 506 streetcar runs along Gerrard Street. When travelling westbound, exit at St. Matthews Road. When travelling eastbound, exit at Blackburn Street.
By Wheel-Trans
Wheel-Trans provides door-to-door accessible transit service for persons with physical disabilities using accessible buses, contracted accessible and sedan taxis.

By Train
Take VIA Rail or GO Transit to Union Station. Be sure to get a transfer if you don’t have a TTC metropass. Take the subway north on the Yonge line from Union Station. Get off at College Station and get on the eastbound 506 streetcar. The streetcar picks you up outside the station, so you will need to show the driver your transfer. Get off the streetcar at Blackburn Street.
By Car
From west of Toronto:
- Take the Queen Elizabeth Way to the eastbound Gardiner Expressway.
- Take the Ontario 2/Lake Shore Boulevard exit from the Gardiner Expressway.
- Turn onto Carlaw Avenue from Lake Shore Boulevard.
- Drive north until Simpson Avenue, north of Gerrard Street.
- Turn onto Simpson Avenue and drive west until Blue Rodeo Drive.
- Turn onto Blue Rodeo Drive and drive north to Bridgepoint Drive.
From east of Toronto:
- Take the westbound Highway 401 to the southbound Don Valley Parkway (DVP).
- Take the Bayview Avenue/Bloor Street exit from the southbound Don Valley Parkway.
- Take Bayview south, staying in the right lane to turn onto River Street.
- Take River Street to Gerrard Street, and turn left on Gerrard Street.
- Take Gerrard Street to St. Matthews Road, and turn left onto St. Matthews Road.
- Take St. Matthews Road north to Jack Layton Way, and turn right onto Jack Layton Way.
- Take Jack Layton Way east to Blue Rodeo Drive, and turn left onto Blue Rodeo Drive.
- Take Blue Rodeo Drive north to Bridgepoint Drive.
Parking
Bridgepoint Active Healthcare has an underground parking garage located off of St. Matthews Road. It also offers 30 minutes of free parking in its underground parking garage to help ensure safe (and warm) patient pick-up and drop-off. The rate is $4.50 per hour, and $18 for one day. There are also a variety of parking passes available that can be used on non-consecutive days:
- 5-day pass: $45
- 10-day pass: $90
- 30-day pass: $130
There are designated spaces for visitors on the P1 level of the underground parking garage; visitor spots are marked with a ‘V’. There are also 10 barrier-free spaces available for visitors who have an accessible parking permit.
There is also metered street parking available along Broadview Avenue.
