Ageing and the Economy

February 27, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

In Canada today, one in six people are over age 65. By 2036, it will be one in four. That means our financial and retirement planning services will be serving a new demographic reality. We also need to consider what impact our ageing population will have on our economy overall.

To consider and explore these pressing concerns, and to broaden the conversation about the impact of our ageing population, we’re hosting Ageing and the Economy, a wide-ranging panel discussion on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, with leaders from HOOPP, Sun Life Financial and OMERS. We’re excited to host this timely discussion about how our ageing population affects the economy of today and the future.
