This course is accredited and certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 5.0 Mainpro+ credits.
The Toronto Geriatrics Update Course is an annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) conference that provides current and relevant knowledge for the care of older adults to health care providers.
This year, recognizing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and its affect on older patients and the delivery of care, we will host our first ever virtual Update Course. To adapt to the learning needs of our audience, our content for the day will be focused around infectious diseases and its impact on older patients.
The program for the day will consist of four interactive lectures in the morning, followed by concurrent breakout sessions. Attendees will be given the option to select two breakout sessions of their choice.
